Anxiety is a psychological state that everyone must face at some point in their life. When a person is suffering from anxiety, they may become anxious, their heart rate may increase, and they may add extra, unhealthy stress to their life. People who suffer from chronic anxiety may also suffer weight loss, which is triggered by stress and a lack of appetite.

We’ve all felt the effects of anxiety. Our hands become sweaty, our heart begins to beat rapidly, and our thoughts begin to race in our mind. The stress that these effects can have on the body may also lead to noticeably physical symptoms, like weight loss.

Stress is an emotional and physical strain the affects everyone. Stress in small amounts can be good for our health, but when we come under the effects of a large amount of stress, like that caused by anxiety, we face many bad side effects, such as weight loss and strain on the heart.

Our appetite can be severely weakened by the chemicals our body releases in response to stress. If we are under constant stress caused by constant anxiety, weight loss may occur, as we are not eating as much. While these effects won’t afflict everybody, some people’s health may be greatly diminished by this process.

Loss of appetite and weight loss can be incredibly bad for our health. A loss of appetite can lead to poor nutrition, caused by not eating properly. When we have a loss of appetite, we do not eat normally, which leads to our bodies not taking in enough nutrients.

A lack of appetite will also cause us to suffer weight loss. When we are eating less than normal and receiving less nutrients, our bodies will begin burning our stored fat. This burning of stored fat will lead to weight loss, which can really harm our health.

Though people may not realize it, anxiety can lead to weight loss. Anxiety can cause stress, which then leads to loss of appetite. Loss of appetite can cause bad eating practices, which in turn, will lead to a lack of nutritional intake and weight loss. If you are suffering from chronic anxiety and are experiencing unwanted weight loss, consult a physician immediately, as this can have horrible consequences on your health.
